We are seeking a Lead Lawyer to support Ardigen’s global biotech and pharma operations. In this role, you’ll manage key legal areas, including commercial contracts (Master Services Agreements, licensing agreements), intellectual property, and corporate law. You'll also provide legal support for our U.S. entity, ensuring compliance and advising on contract negotiations, RFPs, and legal risks. If you have experience in international law and a passion for biotech, this is a unique opportunity to shape legal strategies in a cutting-edge industry.

Key responsibilities
  • Preparation and review of all legal documents related to the company’s day-to-day operations (e.g., Master Services Agreements, licensing agreements, corporate documents, incl. company’s policies and guidelines, framework cooperation agreements)

  • Legal advisory expertise including drafting letters and legal opinions on intellectual property rights issues, corporate law, and employment matters

  • Providing legal support for Ardigen’s U.S. entity, including compliance with local regulations 

  • Assisting the sales department with contract negotiations and ensuring legal compliance with Ardigen’s global commercial activities

  • Advising on legal matters related to international business operations

  • Analyzing proactively any legal issues that might have an impact on the Company’s business or operations, assessing commercial risks, and appropriate mitigations, presenting clear recommendations to the stakeholders and the management, and assuring legal compliance

  •  Review proposals, assist in preparing proposals, and assist in responding to tenders, RFP’s etc.

Requirements
  • Master’s degree in law (mandatory)

  • At least 3 years of experience as a lawyer in a law firm or legal department (mandatory)

  • Fluent command of spoken and written English, including legal English at a minimum C1/C2 level – 95% of the work is conducted in English (mandatory)

  • Knowledge and experience in applying IP law, commercial/corporate law, civil law, and labor law

  • Interest in life sciences is an added advantage

  • Ability to work independently and solve complex legal issues

  • A diligent, reliable, flexible, and meticulous approach to responsibilities
